Call for disseminating sign language in Egypt
On the International Day of Sign Languages on Sept. 23, Egypt launched an initiative to disseminate sign language in the country. The initiative aims to increase the number of sign language translators to easily deal with the deaf and hearing-impaired in banks, state bodies and hospitals.
